CASSGB 50th Anniversary Concert
November 14 @ 19:30 - 21:30
£15
The Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain is excited to be celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year. Since 1976 CASS has been supporting the clarinet and saxophone worlds through its quarterly magazine jam-packed with information, its single reed events with concerts, workshops, master classes and trade displays, and its teachers’ conferences, its website.
Join us for our very special evening on Saturday 14th November. Hosting us is the iconic war-survival church of St Giles, Cripplegate, ancient but now in the heart of brutalist Barbican.
Unmissable performances by clarinettist Andrew Marriner, Twin Reeds (saxophonist Paynor Tsate and clarinettist Christian Hoddinott) and Art Deco Trio (clarinettist Peter Sparks, saxophonist Kyle Horch, pianist and arranger Iain Farrington).
And featuring the premiere of Benjamin Oliver ‘s new work for saxophonists from the UK’s music conservatoires, bass clarinettists from the British Clarinet Ensemble , and percussionists from the Guildhall.
